Airdrop is a very familiar term in cryptocurrency. Different platforms provide airdrop tokens to their users in different ways. There are few conditions for these. I myself have participated in many airdrops.  But I have not received any payment from here. But currently farming airdrops are becoming popular. Everyone expects good payment from them.

My honest opinion, You would get better audience on Twitter, Facebook, and Reddit.

Or better yet, be on all three.  Wink
But I don't agree with you as I've seen in the past that on social media most of the people that discuss airdrops are only doing it because they want to get the profit by their referral codes.

But here only people with pure intentions come and spend their time in educating people so that they can save themselves from falling into the traps of scams.

No other thing discuss but profit, since this is their target especially that there's a lot of people want to earn money coming from this activities.

But I guess he cannot get the traffic or exposure that he wanted here since lots of guys out here are skeptical about the airdrops since they think that this is just a waste of time or other people think about that this is threat of their security especially that they store a lot of bitcoin on their computer and they don't want some malwares can penetrate on their device that's the reason lots of old folks here choose not give some attentions of those risky airdrops spreading around.

I'm feeling the pressure not to miss out on this bull run. I'm confident in my portfolio of solid coins, but I don't think they're quite cutting it. I want my investments to bring in serious wealth. I've heard about meme coins making people rich overnight, but I'm a bit wary of jumping into that arena. By the way, do you think older coins will see the biggest price surges compared to newer ones? What are your thoughts on this?
May sets are ready since Early this year I even have my folio filled more recently as the market drops badly and I took that as a chance to purchase more Meme coin ,maybe time and patient is what we need to have this opportunity but never become too greedy if you wanted to succeed in this field of investment.

I think we are all ready for altcoinseason. Those who filled their bags with altcoins long ago have already reaped the profits. And those who were a little late are now waiting. Hope everyone gets a good profit.
Investing in Memecoin can make you rich overnight as well as lose your original capital. That is why investing in such coins is risky.

And this is because most people in this forum are mindful of their reputation. They want to keep their profiles out of controversy in order for it not to be tarnished They are willing to help others because they see here as a community and also see members as offline friends. There is much care and concern for others here than it is with Twitter and other social outlets. There people are cold

Memecoins may offer more potential profit than Bitcoin but the key word here is potential. If you buy Bitcoin you are almost guaranteed to profit if you hold for a few years. Memecoins are a murky water of scams, failures & rug pulls. Sure you can get lucky & buy the right memecoins but it can go drastically wrong for you too. It all depends on your level of risk & luck of course.

With so much hype about Memecoin, we think it is a top level coin than Bitcoin. But their prices are not fixed. 10x up today, 20x down tomorrow. The biggest thing is trust. We can't trust Memecoin as much as we can trust Bitcoin. One thing is that we only look at who made a profit by investing in memecoin, but we don't look at who lost how much.

According to the recent SEC filing you all know, ETH is now a commodity - highlight: according to the SEC

Is there still a chance that some other force (e.g. congress) will overthrow SEC's right to make this decision?

(Source: SEC mentions ETF funds as Commodity-Based Trust Shares: https://www.sec.gov/files/tm/lk87adfs99.pdf )

It's still a security. Any coin with a PoS mechanism will be classified as such by the US government. ETH is becoming more centralized each day, as big players (mainly CEXs) hold a large stake on the network. The ETFs approval will only make matters worse. Would you imagine an scenario where institutional investment companies become validators of the ETH blockchain with customers' stake? It'd be disastrous.

This is NOT what Satoshi wanted in the first place. People don't care because they're only focused on making money. As long as ETFs "pump" market prices, nothing else matters. We're going to have to see if the SEC will change its view on ETH and starts calling it a "commodity". Crypto regulations in the US are still a "mess". We can't predict the future, so lets hope for the best.  Undecided

Actually i think meme investment requires a higher understanding and also knowing the strategies to take because if you don't know the strategies to take and also having the understanding about how the market works it will be very difficult for you to get profited from meme investment, because meme investment is not like that of bitcoin investment that doesn't requires much knowledge, that is why most people prefer to invest only in bitcoin instead of investing in memecoins considering the risk that is involved in meme investment.

Investing in meme coins also requires luck. Most Meme coins have no fundamentals and rely solely on the strength of the community. This means we need to be able to see how big the meme coin community is before deciding to invest. But it still requires luck. Because if you try to invest in a new project that can produce tens of times the profits, you also have to be prepared for the risk of losing all your money.

I think what the OP means is that we should forget about Bitcoin when "meme" coins provide greater returns in your investment. At least in the short-term. This is by no means indicative that BTC will lose its position as the "King of Crypto". After all, no other cryptocurrency can outmatch the level of security and reliability of Bitcoin. Not to mention, BTC has a limited supply and deflationary mechanism.

I agree with you. OP says meme coins are big gainers bigger than Bitcoin. In fact, some meme coins can provide profits of up to 800% like PEPE in the first quarter of 2024. I was one of those who managed to get profits of up to 300% from PEPE. Bitcoin has hit a new ATH but I think Bitcoin has “only” made a maximum gain of 200% in the last year.

But what must be remembered and is very important is that meme coins will not last long. If you want to be a long term hold I think Bitcoin is still the best. If you want to get big profits, you can bet your money on meme coins.
