LocalBitcoins.com escrow charges 1% and if you want to talk about security, they have had several XSS exploits and server outtages.
No they don't. They only charge 1% from the users whoever is running a ad and yes they had* and even 1% is better than your 0.02 BTC.
We've done over 4 BTC in orders today alone.
If you have sold 4 BTC today it's just because probably seller sold them on low rates.
Not comparable. LocalBitcoins is 1% charged to the person who lists the coin for sale in escrow, and it is free to cancel the order and withdraw your coins.
For us, it is free to sell and we charge the withdrawal fee for cancelling the order.
BitQuick is different than LocalBitcoins in that we oversee each and every transaction to make sure things go smoothly. We aim to make the process simple. If you like to have the ability to set your own payment terms and control your own funds, then feel free to use LocalBitcoins. I also certainly don't think any of this warrants the hostility.
