Accounts cannot be deleted, even by Admins. You're best bet is to delete all your posts and profile info then change your password to something random.

As an aside the documentation for this forum says removal of accounts is an admin only action, but it does exist.

it can be deleted. but I doubt the admins are going to delete your account just because you asked for it.

OP, just leave your account as it is and don't ever use it again. it'll probably get deleted once the new forum arrives.
