How old is the account? Is there any potential activity on the account? Can you sign a message from an address posted before the DB hack?
He already said that he cannot do this. He is trying to pass off signing a message from the address in the profile field as proving ownership of the account.
Why don't you sign from an address from the zedicus account then? what a double standard.
I mean it would be different if there was an address posted by the account and I couldn't sign from that address, that I can understand, but that account hasn't posted an address at all. I didn't know there was some unspoken rule that said you must post your bitcoin address if you want to sell your account. Not a very effective way to determine owner either seeing as even if it was a hacked account I could just post an address and wait a month, who in the hell regularly checks that all addresses in their posts are actually their addresses.
