CoinPayments been around for a few years now, 13,000+ merchants trust it.

do you mean https://www.coinpayments.net/ right ? actually i've been looking for my online shop and i think most important have auto conversion eassy and convenient Smiley

Yep, the same. The auto conversion is great for anyone who wants to accept only BTC or only a certain coin. Now also offering USD support for Coinbase users, and CAD support for Cointrader users.

Shapeshift.io has one, and with you can accept loads of altcoins for purchases and they will convert it to Bitcoin. Don't know what their fees or mark-ups are like though.

You have to check the altcoin list shapeshift.io has added because they dont have every altcoin out there, most likely the ones that have good buying support.

Ya, but as far as I know there isn't another payment solution that even allows that range of altcoins for payment purposes in the first place.

You could try Coinpayments.net. About the only problem I have with them is that they keep yanking the ones I actually want to use. Cointopay is also an option, but I can't really recommend them at this point.

Use Bitpay. I'm currently using it. It's 100% safe, fast & no associated fee applied ........

Oh ! It has opencart plugin too, so, you can easily use it on your opencart sites.

You can always bypass everything and just post a QR code of an address you own and start accepting transactions.

This. Why put in a third party when you don't have to?

You sell a widget with your Bitcoin address below. I send my bitcoins to that address. Someone else claims they sent bitcoins to that address.

Who do you ship the widget to?

in these cases, what about..." can you please sign a message from the address u used to pay me?"

How do you do that from your mobile wallet? Your blockchain.info wallet? Xapo?

The typical approach is to create a new address for each customer on the website. When you go to pay you get a unique address tied to your order and shipping address. When money goes into that address you know that the purchase has gone through.

Sites like BitPay create that functionality for you with a simple button. If you make less than $500,000 the transactions are free. So it's a no brainer to just add a button from them.

Or you can write the code yourself or, as has been pointed out, use an opencart plugin.

Most companies prefer BitPay or Coinbase because they convert a percentage of the bitcoins immediately into fiat.

Did you seriously just answer a topic subject on the second page of threads thinking nobody had mentioned BitPay?

Oh wait...signature campaign.
