You can always bypass everything and just post a QR code of an address you own and start accepting transactions.

This. Why put in a third party when you don't have to?

Or you can just post you bitcoin address on the site. If you are planning to sell some product then consider incorporating Bitpay or Coinbase. They offer good services as well.

You could always have someone build you  your own payment gateway if you don't want to use a 3rd party payment processor thats the beauty about bitcoin you can choose different ways.

Never heard Okpay doing payment processing. You are still better off using Bitpay or coinbase or just posting the QR code instead. If its nothing illegal then giving your ID information should not be a problem.

You sell a widget with your Bitcoin address below. I send my bitcoins to that address. Someone else claims they sent bitcoins to that address.

Who do you ship the widget to?

First seastead company actually selling sea homes: Ocean Builders https://ocean.builders  Of course we accept bitcoin.

Shapeshift.io has one, and with you can accept loads of altcoins for purchases and they will convert it to Bitcoin. Don't know what their fees or mark-ups are like though.

You have to check the altcoin list shapeshift.io has added because they dont have every altcoin out there, most likely the ones that have good buying support.

Shapeshift.io is no charge for exchange/service fee, just charge for miner fee. https://shapeshift.io/site/about

I've checked the site, there are still have an option for altcoin.
