I most certainly was at the conference along with two friends that I invited, it was very professionally organized and they did a ton of background research and write ups in preparation for it.

It was really fun, mostly their focus was how trustees would handle crypto currencies either for people who set the trusts up or for the beneficiaries of them, what the legal implications may be and the potential hazards - there were a ton of high powered legal guys there who specialized in trust biz, law firms, barristers and a QC,  in effect they took it very seriously though in a light hearted way, they could see that they would have to be dealing with this new type of asset/money/currency/commodity/whatever and they were brainstorming about what is was exactly and how they would best treat it, they looked into a lot of case law that may or not apply and reviewed current regulation and the ongoing reach out for consultation from the Jersey authorities on this.

They also had a fun scenario with a mock trial of a pretend crypto coin, Minioncoin, where a kind of Mt. Gox happened and we all took different roles in the mock trial, mostly it was very enjoyable to be the one person who happened to know most there about crypto amongst so many very smart suits who happened to be looking in to it for probably the first time.
