I just clicked "Add Funds" in my MtGox account, an address showed up and I copy/pasted it to my Bitcoin client.
Then I sent 10 BTC to the address and now, more than 5 hours later and having 27 confirmations, they don't shop up in my MtGox account.

At first I thought "a well, that's a bit slowish today..." but now I'm starting to worry...
I tried again with 0.2 BTC (to a new address) and after 7 confirmations they don't shop up either...

Anyone tried to do this?

How long have you had the account you tried to send BTC to?

How long have you had the account you tried to send BTC to?

More than 2 weeks now, I used it before the crash and if I added funds they would show up shortly after 6 confirmations.
I can log in and see my old balance of 10.67 BTC but not the 10 I added today...

Edit: is someone at MtGox reading this forum? Tongue

Then it appears they're having multiple problems.

New accounts can log in upon creation, but not afterwards.

New (and seemingly old) accounts are not being funded by btc transfers.

*sigh*

A post in the "Bitcoin Discussion" forum cited from IRC that their server had not downloaded the full block chain yet, so they couldn't parse incoming transactions right after the start. That thread is apparently gone now, it was probably too spammy.

I hope next time transactions get processed faster. Smiley

The deposit delay of bitcoins was a result of them downloading the blockchain so it had extra delay.

This issue is resolved.
