I've already posted this in the Italian section https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1196095.0 but since this would be an international thing, I wanted to post it here too. I've only made an ASCII mockup and I'm shaping it with your opinions and suggestions like it's already happening in the Italian section.

So, the website's structure would be like the following (empty spots means that they're ads):

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    |       home | how it works | members | blog | faq | terms and conditions     |
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ads from California (based on your position). change

             ---------  ---------  ---------  ---------  ---------  ---------  ---------
             | 1BTC |  | 1BTC | | 5BTC |  | 1BTC | | 9BTC | | 1BTC |  | 1BTC |
             ---------  ---------  ---------  ---------  ---------  ---------  ---------
             ---------  ---------  ---------  ---------  ---------  ---------  ---------
             |         | | rent   | |         | | rent   |  |         | | rent  |  | rent  |
             ---------  ---------  ---------  ---------  ---------  ---------  ---------
             ---------  ---------  ---------  ---------  ---------  ---------  ---------
             | rent  |  | rent   | |        |  | rent   | |         |  | rent   | | rent  |
             ---------  ---------  ---------  ---------  ---------  ---------  ---------
             ---------  ---------  ---------  ---------  ---------  ---------  ---------
             | rent   | | rent   | | rent  | | rent   | |          |  | rent  | | rent  |
             ---------  ---------  ---------  ---------  ---------  ---------  ---------
             ---------  ---------  ---------  ---------  ---------  ---------  ---------
             | rent   | | rent  |  | rent  | | rent   | | rent   |  | rent  |  | rent  |
             ---------  ---------  ---------  ---------  ---------  ---------  ---------

                                   footer copyright etc

I'm going to explain how it works in ASCII; let's take an empty column. The starting price is 5mBTC (or 0.005BTC):

    -----------
    | 5mBTC |
    -----------
    -----------
    |   rent   |
    -----------

The first advertiser rents an ad spot in that column for, you guessed, 5mBTC, and the price for the next advertiser will be 10mBTC.

    -------------
    | 10mBTC |
    -------------
    -------------
    |             | <-- first advertiser's ad
    -------------
    -------------
    |    rent    |
    -------------

The next advertiser (second one) rents that space for 10mBTC from which 5mBTC go to the first advertiser, which will be pushed one spot down the second one. The price will now double to 20mBTC. It goes on the same way until all the spots are taken. The first advertiser, having been refunded of his 5mBTC can choose between taking the first spot again pushing everyone down, or be satisfied having had free advertising.

    -------------
    | 20mBTC |
    -------------
    ------------->___________________________________
    |             | <-- second advertiser ad                        |
    -------------                                                          |
    -------------                                                          +5mBTC
    |             | <-- first advertiser ad                            |
    -------------<___________________________________|
    -------------
    |    rent    |
    -------------

When all the columns are all taken, the last advertisers will be refunded of 25% and will have the right to repay the remaining 75% in the first spot at the next rounds spread over 75 rounds. This means that if the last advertiser paid $15, he'll be refunded of $3.75 and will have $0.15 in the first spot for 75 rounds, totaling $11.25 and repaying 100% of his spent BTC's.

What's your take, opinions and suggestions on this? I'm open to anything. Also, if this gets off the ground I'm willing to pay the one who finds the best domain name for it.

Yeah, someone already alluded to that thing in your ASCII representation. It's not though, because it would be structured in a way that every round has a progressively lower price so the last advertiser refunds himself until he loses a few cents at worst, reaching thus a plateau. Not only that, but we're talking about renting a tangible product and getting a lot of advertising in the meantime, most of that free.

So you are implying that this sounds like an advertizing piramid scheme? Cheesy For me it sure does...

But let's wait and see how it goes, I`m not early to judge people.

Guys did you even read the last part?!! It's NOT a pyramid scheme. IF you read the LAST part you see there's a return even for the people in the last line.

This type of idea is practicable in the area that we have huge traffics and it is called ads arbitrage, this existed between google and some small search engines in the past before google cut it off.

Do you have more info about that Google + other small search engines agreement in the past? I couldn't find any source about that information.

If this idea proves to work, I guess you'll need some HUGE network of websites in order to generate HUGE traffic of visitors.

But sometimes odd things may occur like The Million Dollar Homepage.

BTW some guys already tried (without success) a BTC version of TMDH.

Maybe your idea could be used to create an interesting smart contract (on ethereum or counterparty). With no third party risk, your project might get some more attention.

I did not say Google + other small search engines agreement in the past but i said ads arbitrage existed in the past whereby you bid for keyword in small search engines and use it to promote google adsense.
