Multiple Sales Threads

I know that it is against the rules to have multiple active sales threads in the currency section.
Should this be made applicable to other sections also - say services, digital goods, gambling, etc?

Example in services section
JSMIT332: Link 1, Link 2, Link 3, Link 4
roslinpl: Link 1, Link 2, Link 3, Link 4

In the gambling section
gkv9: Link 1, Link 2

All these could have been easily accommodated in 1 thread.
Thoughts?

The reason why I instituted the rule in currency exchange is because that category is very specific. The same can not be said of goods/services. If I was selling alpaca socks and coffee, putting them into one topic would result in:

Selling socks and coffee

Apart from the weird combination of items, it sort of works, but isn't scaleable. (what if I was selling a few more items, like what TheButterZone does?)
or...

Which is overly broad.

A better solution Badbear thought of would be to limit bumps to once per day, per user. That way people can have as many sales topics as they want, but also limits the number of topics each user can have show up on a regular basis.

This is true, but what happens when people start splitting up topics, just for more visibility (and possibly more posts)?

I don't see why the gambling tips cannot be in 1 thread and have to be split up based on sports.

What if a person starts separate threads for selling different accounts - hero accounts, senior members, full members etc.? This would limit visibility of other threads...

I like this proposal as it would prevent the people from essentially getting around the bump once per 24 hours rule, and would prevent them from monopolizing large parts of certain sections. Although it might be a good idea to make the rule be one bump per user, per sub forum (so someone could bump a thread in digital goods and lending in the same day).

I do think that some threads probably should be combined, for example I have seen a few people selling several domains, with one for sale in each thread.

there are a lot of clone and some times a seller forgot to close an old one...
or every xx pages they close the old and open a new (I see it for the "account generator").

The really problem is that you can never know if a selling is open or not, because people can sell stuff from "august 2015" and stop to bump!
But otherwise you can find a December topic that has already sold and the seller not close/update the sale.
I think that for that issues we have this section so "complicated"
