As far as I know, OPAL is developed. It is a Supernet coin and the most development discussion is going on Slack and even some on nxtforum.org.

That was half a year ago, wasn't it?
I cannot see any commits and I cannot see any activity from whitjack
Also, the supernet features are just not there
