Who is in charge?
The Elastic Project is a loose formation of developers. As such, nobody can speak with authority in the name of the Elastic network.
The entire development takes place on GitHub (using the push and pull process) and everyone is entitled to contribute.
There is no company nor is there a single person behind the Elastic Project. Everything is democratic here.
Yet, I have taken responsibility of running the website, and managing the donation based crowdfunding as well as all funds that belong to Elastic.
The funds I hold are in a multisig wallet which allows increased security by requiring that a third party (a community member) signs off on transactions before the funds can be spent. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me or one of the other community members here in this thread.
