Hi guys, I just notice that I am a jr member, i read a rank system thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178608.0I saw many said we can earn up 14 activities in 14 days, but my registration date was 9th of August, how can I be a jr member now(31st of August today)? Only 22 days, shouldn't be most 28 activities? Do I miss some rules or just because my post quality is good? LOL Any explanation? Thanks a lot ![Kiss](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/kiss.gif)

If u didnt post in a activiy period, u will not get activity points for that period. Also there is something called potential activity, this shows up when u make fewer than 14 posts per activity period.

Or where did you see this rule. Actually I don't find it in that thread I post in OP. I can earn about 40 activities within 4 weeks, to be eaxt is 22 days. i can't imagine lol, i think my great quality post contributes some activities. Post length/quality doesn't affect activity.

This system makes me dizzy. So if one account makes 2 posts in 4 weeks, can he earn up to 42 activities from 5-6 weeks posts with only 14+2= 16 posts? They get 2 activities from 2 posts. This system will make who post less makes more activities. Isn't it? Now I understant the system is based on system time, not our registration date.

In you example, after 5-6 weeks with 14+2=16 post you still will have 16 activities points, to get 42, need 40 post in 3rd period(5-6weeks)

I care more about the reputation of the actual person and I base some of it on their posts/positions. Some people are pretty cool and contribute a lot of help/warn others. However, there are 100x more scammers (which is pretty sad 4BTC to be associated with scams/criminal activity, etc ![Angry](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/angry.gif) ) Enjoy the forum! There is a LOT here good/bad/otherwise.

There is a LOT here good/bad/otherwise. I see the OP is already enrolled into a signature campaign. Since he wants to earn more money for his posts, I think that the rank does matter. I can tell that from my own experience ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Bad people you can find everywhere, so they are around here too. That should not associate BTC with scams. Unfortunately media covers BTC only when something big happens, which is usually a hack/heist. I've read about the silk road business. That gives bad reputation to BTC...

i know that the rank thing is very exciting, and the system is hard to fully grasp. the point of being here on the forum is to ask questions, help others and communicate about the bitcoin system and derived systems of currency. do not worry too much about the rank system, if it really bugs you, just make sure that you post once per day at least or try to average that number, better to actually post once per day than ten times one day and four the next. come here and take part in the community and that will reward you in the end.
