BBCode image posting

Hi all,

New to bitcointalk and bbcode in general.

I'm having an issue with including images in my posts. I've been embedding the image tags with the hyperlink between them, as expected.

However, when I preview or post, all I see is the hyperlink to the image - not the image itself.

Any ideas?

You can't post images unless you have at least 30 activity I believe, so It will take you three periods of activity reset to reach that and you must use the img tags and not the hyperlink tags which says img instead of url.

Post those image links and then let a more senior member quote your post (link) and the image will appear in the quoted post. You don't even have to ask people to do this for you, they'll help you out on their own...it's kind of a common courtesy offered here.

And don't worry, make a post a day and you'll level up in a month. It's easy.

Maybe it is problem with your account life? Maybe you must have longer account or higer rank?

The only thing that you can't do on posts while being a newbie is posting images, there are no restrictions. As for your signatures then this rules apply:

- Newbie: No styling (including links) allowed. Max 50 characters.
- Jr. Member: Links allowed. Max 150 characters.
- Member: Unlimited length.
- Full: Color allowed.
- Sr. Member: Size allowed
- Hero: Background color allowed
