Hello all!

I promise I searched and if I missed the post, I'm very sorry. My luck it's on the first page.

On topic, does internet speed affect your hash speed? Right now I'm capped at 15 mb/s and am interested in investing in a ASIC hardware miner. They can get a bit pricey though and want to make sure before I decide to make the investment that my internet speed isn't going to affect it poorly. I know that hashing works off of processing power, at least that's what I believe I understand (please correct me if I'm wrong), but as for how much of a role the internet speed takes, if any, I'm a bit lost.

Thank you kindly!

Although hashing would require constant communication there isn't much weight in the data being sent/received itself, so no it wouldn't limit you. And if it did i really doubt you would have a problem at 15 mbps.

Found this aswell, check it out:
