Apple pay is a considerably more invasive system that just gets deeper into your information and privacy,

Well, no. You should probably read more.

Apple Pay has an anonymizing layer. In contrast to credit or debit transactions without Apple Pay -- which provide the vendor with your name, number, pin, and backtracable to your address, credit history, SSN or other identifier, etc., and also allows the vendor to pull as much as desired from your account at any time now or in the future, Apple Pay provides to the vendor merely an anonymized inscrutable transaction ID, specifying that the invoice has been paid.

Net: way more anonymous than current credit/debit transactions. Of course, it is arguable that Apple Pay is less anonymous than Bitcoin, but Apple Pay is not meant to provide an alternative to Bitcoin.

Anyone with a campaign ad in their signature -- for an organization with which they are not otherwise affiliated -- is automatically deducted credibility points.

I've been convicted of heresy. Convicted by a mere known extortionist. Read my Trust for details.

I am not very sure. I highly doubt that Bitcoin was developed to be used like everyday currency. I only use Bitcoin for buying gamecards and digital products. However, aren't Bitcoin transaction irreversible? Couldn't you just show the shopkeeper that you sent the transaction? Moreover, I cam pretty sure that Apple Pay is even less used that Bitcoin.

These two are not supposed to be compared. You are comparing apples to oranges. They bought have their own purpose and uniqueness. Both can co-exist in the world and they don't have to necessarily go against each other.

I agree. Both has their own set of use. However, if there were two option to pay for something, I would use Bitcoin than use Apple pay. It's more convenient to use Bitcoint han Apple pay.

It is against each other which one will have more user and trusted method of payment.
Bitcoin still has more advantages I thought, it even doesn't take that long time to do transaction, less than 1 minute even the verified need more time but at least the money has been sent.
