Just stick to BTC, LTC is as scammy as they come. It is the original alt scam.
an altcoin is called scam when there is a big amount of premine, a big ICO, and a coin that has 1 or two developers who are shady and are doing some shady things. and generally when they are out to fill their pockets only by pumping their coin and dumping their premine and ICO coin.
i am not saying litecoin is the best thing, it obviously has problems but LTC falls under none of these categories.
What you are talking about are symptoms and signs of INTENT.
Although i think the engineering design behind ICO's are all 100% scammy.
But that is the underlying issue at hand.
And over time has gotten extremely difficult to prove.. these guys learned years ago to cover their tracks.
Our criticisms many years ago now.. taught them how to make a better scam coin (for profits)
AND THAT to me, is what the intent is about.
When you launch a currency for profits primarily then yeah, it's a fucking scam.
Pretty simple say one thing and do another.. is fraud.
Say it's a currency then focus 100% of the efforts on getting at a high price for trading on Poloniex etc.
I don't mind profits but i did not come here ONLY for that reason.
Since this is still the early days you should be here to be a supporter and be a profiteer *combined*.

When you change the entire scene from how it was in the past to how it is now.. it's scammy.
From the top down in every aspect we have the entire crypto machine running full tilt in greed mode.
Take Cryptsy adding an obvious pointless clone coin.. say Elephant Coin.
They know it will be listed at almost 0 satoshi's.
They claim to add it for "user demand".
We SHOULD be trading things on exchanges because they HAVE value.
Not because we are putting hollow empty block chain shells onto trade platforms..
in the hopes a naive fool will come along and buy them with real money.
That is the reverse of what should be happening !

NONE of you give two shits if these exchange companies who are there to make a profit do this.
Nor do you care that they violate the Free Market concept by collecting your Picture ID etc.
And engineering it all to run from centralized controlled points / back room boys gangs etc.
