It seems that I am in the same boat as quite a few people - I sent the funds just before they changed their bank details.

Currently this large sum of money and has been missing since Wednesday. Transferwise have confirmed that they sent it on Wednesday at 11AM (I had a confirmation e-mail and I called them up to make sure) hence it should have got to their bank by Thursday at the LATEST. The support ticket I raised and my contact with a Bitstamp representative on this forum has resulted in vague responses "it should arrive without a problem"  and "when transfer is complete you should get your funds as soon as possible."

There is obviously a problem but it is not being communicated and I am getting INCREASINGLY worried. Bitstamp are acting as if this is normal and unless I e-mail again and again I do not get any updates.

I appreciate they are busy and things are not always straightforward but I know i used correct reference (as my previous deposit got there very quickly) and 5 days later the money MUST be in their account - although each contact I have so far had with them has suggested that the money is still not there.

I will keep this page updated.

Unfortunately www.bitcoin-24.com showed the exact same symptoms
  • not crediting
  • changing bank account

After that it was shut down for indefinite time with my money and bitcoins stuck in it.

What's happening is these 'exchanges' are not being properly registered in their countries as financial institutions so their banks are putting the squeeze on them. It's likely the banks are freezing the accounts until lawyers get involved.
