Exactly. Thats the Point.

I rather pay some small fees (small compared to bank fees) to be able to securely and pseudonymously transfere money all around the world
way faster than Banks do. In Addition to that i am in control of my Money.. No trust required.

You can always use lower fees on sending your coins however the downside is, you will not get your transaction confirmed faster--to be honest not even within a week's time on our current fees/KB. One of bitcoin's edge is micropayments and confirmation times, but due to this said problem, the said edge will somehow be dull in the near future.
