I bought an Antminer S7.  When I turn it on it will mine for maybe a couple of minutes and start beeping.  I never get a green LED.  Here is what it is doing.

I turn on power. I have solid red LED. Then it gets quiet and I see one red LED on each card come on. The red LED starts flashing and the miner starts to speed up. The LEDs on the cards turn off. Then the miner starts beeping and the red LED is solid. The green LED never comes on.

I have been searching on Google, but thought some of you maybe able to point me in the right direction or have solved this before.  I would love to get this fixed so that I can double my hash power.

Thanks for any help.

Post the status page both while it's "working" and when it enters the error condition.

I use cryptocurrency and solar power to help my best friend Naomi Wu... And I'm proud of it!

Hi Michael,

it is problem with fan. Newer batches of S7 requires two fan to work properly, if one fan is missing it will stop hashing. This can also happen if you flash new firmware to your old S7.

It has two fans.  I did have to flash the firmware in order to get back in it.  I guess I entered a hosed up IP and it would not show on my network.
