After a bit of tweaking, I've settled on the following for my EVGA 1060 6GB SSC card in my main work/gaming PC:

Power target: 61%
Temp target: 90C
GPU offset: +90
Mem offset: +900
Fan target: 45%

Clocks are at ~1900 core and 9600 memory and this nets me ~310 sol/s @ 90W which ends up being around 3.4 Sol/W
The temperature is right around 67C and the fan noise is very quiet

The best thing is I can just work away, watch videos etc. and I barely even notice that it's mining Cheesy

You should try to ping the pool first, if the latency is around 100-180ms is  ok . I suggest http://zcash.flypool.org
30 ms latency, I'll try it tonight thank you !

Anyone know if the Mini 1060's are any good or should I stick with the full sized one?

For some reason I just have a problem thinking the mini cards will be as good as a full sized card?

Also... Should you stick to 3gb or 6gb for mining?

I did testing for best "Sols/Eecticity cost" ratio on my GTX 1060 MSI.
Best results:

Power target: 72%
Temp target: 80C
GPU offset: +200
Mem offset: +900
Fan target: 75%

It make ~300 Sol/s at this settings.
You results may differ if you have different electricity costs. In my place it is 0.114 Eur/kWh

no prob.   the only one that you really have to be concerned with right now (thats a good earner) to have high mem is eth...  Otherwise, don't worry about buying one with more ram unless you want the resale value to be a bit higher in the future.

My Palit StormX does normally 250-275 sol/s but in some very rare cases it goes up to 309 sol/s. My settings are as follows:

Stock settings, only have changed fan speed to 85% to keep maximum temperature of my card 74 degree celsius.

That's the maximum you can get from a Nvidia Gtx 1060 3gb card.

There are much more profitable coins/algos out there.....  check my post history.  I've said it a million times, and several have seen the results I speak of.

Don't follow what others say, do the math yourself on the spot and you'd be surprised at what is more profitable.
