Hey Guys,

New to mining - I usually just trade on exchanges.

I went out and got the following to get some Ethereum:

i3 Core
GigaByte Z170X-Gaming 6
7x AMD Raedon RX570
1,500 Watt Power
PCI USB Riser Cards

Right now the 7 USB riser cards attached to my rig and GPU cards.

No overclock yet. I'll be installing Claymore (currently installed Ubuntu).

My main concern is frying the whole thing as I'm not the most technically savvy person on the planet.

Any suggestions or advise so I don't burn my house down...?  Grin

Not if you have powered USB risers (as in, you have to plug a molex or SATA cable into them) so the cards won't pull power from the motherboard.

Also, don't put more than 2 risers on the same molex/sata cable coming from the PSU.

Not your keys, not your coins!

Thanks. I'll take your heed your words, and try not to do anything stupid on this machine.
