I'm buying xrp ripples from forum members. I'm quite new here. So even if I offered the best rates, many are still hesitate to trade with me.

I wish someone publicly trusted in this forum can act as an escrow. I can offer 2% commission on each transaction.

Anybody with a hero member stutus can helping me?

Being hero means nothing, anyone can make 500 posts. Look for someone with a big reputation. Or tell the seller to use bitmit.net in order for you to pay using their escrow system.

The Rock Trading Exchange forges its order books with bots, uses them to scam customers and is trying to appropriate 35000 euro from a forum member https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4975753.0

Being hero means nothing

A million times this.

I understand it is hard to find people to trust but lets not start creating blanket criteria for trustworthy status. If you do then more people that want to scam will build up post counts just to scam you. Also everything is a risk here, even a trusted trader may just be buying his reputation until they pull off a large heist.

By the way, you are taking a big risk buying XRPs at those rates. XRP was once at 10,000 XRPs per 1 btc and then dropped to 140,000 XRPs per 1 btc. Now, it breached the resistance at 10,000 XRPs and no one knows how high it can go. But once it starts dropping, it will drop back to 20,000 XRPs very fast. And won't stop there.

Thank you for very helpful input!

It looks I need someone who is well trusted in the forum and have plenty of time to do this stuff. Not an easy job.

Regarding the up and downs of XRP/BTC, I guess bitcoin's fluctuation in recent months contributed the bigger part.

I agree with Trading about XRP rates.

I just sold 14,200 XRP on the ripple website for 2 BTC, for a currency that is entirely minted by 1 entity and there exists 100,000,000,000 XRP with 99% controlled by less than 20-50 people.

At the moment 1 BTC = 7,100 XRP and this is insanely expensive.

Remember the supply of XRP is artificial and controlled by 1 entity, they are like De Beers. They can change this supply at any time increasing or decreasing the value of your holdings.

On the other side of the fence, many people on the Ripple forums expect 1 XRP to be worth 1 USD. By that logic a buy now is worthwhile.
