Hi guys. My friend is looking to invest $10k in bitcoin and another $10k in ethereum. He asked me to get information on how he can invest this securely and which gateway to use to do it.
Another question is on which platform he can exchange NEO without a high fee.

I wouldn`t suggest any cryptocurrency exchange platform for high volume investments.I still don`t trust them.Perhaps the most secure option to buy btc is Coinbase,but it`s slow and requires ID verifications.
Buying BTC from multiple localbitcoins traders with lots of positive feedback is another option,but they have high fees and require IDs.I`m not very familiar with buying ethereum...

Coinbase, Localbitcoin, and Paxful are the secure platforms to buy Bitcoin and Ethereum.
For buying NEO, bittrex is charging 0.25% commission.

If you want to invest a lot of money into bitcoin, I think coinbase is the best place to invest. They are the head of the virtual currency market for prestige, any of their transactions are transparent. It is a safe place.

I think that with the money you invest in, you use blockchain is the place to store your assets most reliable and low fees.

I would buy $20k worth of btc on localbitcoins.com then transfer them to Poloniex and exchange half of btc for eth.

Like said before bittrex works well for NEO, for BTC coinbase
