Yes bitcoin is becoming more popular, and much more recent like bitcoin atm, but in my country there is nothing like it, and I prefer to sell my btc or exchange it
Same is the case here in my country. I have not come across even a single BTC ATMs, not yet. But that affects me in the least. I still invest in bitcoins and prefer to perform all my action using my mobile. I really do not want to go to ATMs in order to perform small transactions. It would give me the feel as I am dealing with fiat.

Not like in my country nowadays that BTC atm machine wasn't a reality for everybody, but I am still looking to it as positive in the future. One thing I only did is the better option for my wallet to cash out through affiliated bank of the wallet site, and good thing is it can be directly exchange to fiat currency using the bank's ATM cashless withdrawal. It really gave me a successful transactions as always with seldom traffic sometimes which we cannot prevent due to system errors, particularly it's understandable that bank was just a middleman between btc to fiat currency.

The high fees are the problems for ATMs.
I know of one machine in my area, and that got closed because nobody used it.
Paying five, sometimes even ten percent more than you would pay if you bought your coins somewhere on the internet, that is something many people drives away.
So to me it is at least questionable if the ATM service will be able to survive.

Besides: Bitcoin Cash is a new crypto currency.
I do not think machines for them will ever be built.
Yes, the Bitcoin ATMs are becoming very popular, but I hate to make use of it. I rather sell the amount of Bitcoin I need and have it transferred to my bank account, then I can withdraw/buy/sell through bank, than using a Bitcoin ATM.The ATM is very costly!

The global bitcoin Atms has doubled compared to last yesr but still there are countries without bitcoin Atms. The machine helps to buy and sell bitcoin in the community. As the users increases Atm  will also be increased. America and North American countries has more number of Atms.

well seems like its getting popular on some countries but unfortunately not on mine. i heard a long time ago that there are already a few number of bitcoin atms here but sadly i

haven't heard any news about it because thats the last. if its getting better i'm sure i would have heard any news right? but i didn't heard/read a single one means its not well

received here. there are probably two reasons why. first is atms are known for charging too much fees of course that also applies on bitcoin. second, i'm sure they would have

some verifications
well of course they charge fees; atm's, wether they belong to an individual or bank, bitcoin or not, are not a free service. they exist as a convenient way to access funds for people and ultimately benefit the owner (if it were a fiat bank, running an atm is cheaper than having personnel handle withdrawals and deposits 24 / 7; bitcoin atm's will function as a exchange and sell bitcoin for cash at a higher price than they will buy it for).

theres nothing here. message me if you want to put something here.

I am still wondering what advantage it brings to people to use an atm.
I mean, if I want to buy or sell my coins, I can do that online from at home.
Or online from everywhere with my smartphone.
And these transactions have much lower fees than what you pay at an atm.
So what brings people to use such a machine?

convenience. unlike at an exchange, you don't need all this identity verification, 2fa, valid bank account, wait period for ach withdrawal, etc. you just walk up to one, send bitcoin or insert cash (big selling point of bitcoin atm's) and get what you need. the fee might not be justifiable for some people such as yourself, but other people think differently. personally, I wouldn't use one either.

The more we adopt these things the more readily available and accepted btc will become. I hope to use one, one day. They do have one in my city but on there other side I have no reason to visit. Still....If ever I am in that area I will use their btm and see what it is like.
