Yes Exodus as well as the Jaxx wallets offers ease of use and multiple cryptos. They are a good starting point for anyone, as they learn more about hardware solutions and paper wallets they may wish to get into that.

 Grin I use poloniex and bittrex wallet.. but seem when btc-e down. I think exchange wallet not safe anymore. so I make a folder for my computer and save wallet in there

I have come to decision not to keep more then 0.01 at stock exchange (any) - all extra coins i send to cold wallet.

Try using myether wallet wallet to save it. Since the first time I also used it and there is never a constraint that can harm at the time of coin exchange until now.
