This is slowly becoming a reality for ICOs in probably all countries. The SEC is going to kick in and soon there will be no ICOs. I am curious if it will be retroactive and if the SEC will dole out penalties for ICOs that have already happened. I think the era of ICOs is coming to an end, but not just yet.

It doesn't matter. We already have a lot of coins and if ICOs are banned people will find another way to get funding. Crypto makes different kinds of funding so easy.

this situation might cause some negative results about crypto especially in asia. but generally, ICO's will keep going as always be.
some of the goverments who act like Korea try to prevent and control some of the issues about crypto.
i wonder how they will act when hole world accept this subject.

It's north Korea or south Korea? If it's north, then nothing matter.

funny if you are serious about it mate, n. korea doesn't allowed anything inside their jurisdiction so its south who's implementing this things mate
as they seen that china's moves to help their people not being scam so they need to stop or make some rules regarding to ico projects. maybe we
will see more countries to do the same.

I hope it's a joke. North Korea will never be able for any type of ICO.

And I'm getting sad for South Korea for banning ICO's, but they just want to protect their citizens.

I have never been interested in this issue internationally, but I have heard that China has always been strong in advanced technologies. Thanks to the response of many uses.

They are failing to ban or prevent their local civiliants to participate in the ico, But this time some ico will be more strict caused by the recent banned from some countries and the KYC as the solution to prevent the local civilians from the country that banned ico to participate in the crowdsale. Kyber and another ico already implemented the KYC verification but they are still able to buy through exchange site.

if this could be so hopefully it will not truly affect the crypto hope it will not but what can we gonna do maybe they have some personal reason just like they want to secure their citizen i think it is related for some scammed ICO hope it will prevent.
