I saw the posts also, but the reason why so many people were not able to claim the coins was because they did not know about the existing tutorials. The claim process is basically very easy if you have a good tutorial. I for myself (who have no technical background at all) asked me the same and I also asked the question here. After I was pointed to a thread describing the process I was able to claim them on my own.

I will NEVER ask for private keys and claim the coins for you, I will just suggest to the people the right method, so they can claim their own coins

On August 1, I had around BTC0.15 in my Blockchain.info wallet. The BTC was converted to fiat a few days back, and I want to know how to claim my BCH coins. I have already exported the private key from Blockchain.info in text format. Should I import this particular private key in my BitcoinABC wallet and then claim the BCH coins?

there is no need to help anyone it's very simple, just download both core wallet, and sync the blockchain, when you finished with this transfer your bitcoin to another wallet you ahve previously created, and import the privatekey with the right command to the other bitcoin cash core client, you have now your bitcoin cash 1:1

You can do like you said. Simplest and fastest way would be download coinomi app on your phone, then add bcc and import your private key.
