Hi,

is there a way how Chinese citizens still can invest in ICOs?

I mean if it is possible to buy drugs anonymously with Bitcoin, it should be doable to buy tokens as well...

If you use a coin mixer you can buy the coins and get them to a wallet. But I believe it is hard for Chinese because of the KYC policies to sell that on an exchange, right?

Are there any companies/funds/trusts that hold ICOs on behalf of Chinese clients and can liquidate them on demand? In the next step, they would transfer fiat currency back to China to pay the ICO investor.

Is there something like that? I am sure someone will come up with anything that works...

Please share your thoughts.

It is not impossible to do but i can surely say that it isn't that easy because the law would then be your greatest enemy. Which is held by the government and the banks of china. And I don't think any profit you can get from investing illegally into icos would be worth your free life. But if you really wanna risk it, you can use vpns or just travel into other countries.

I'd say right now it's fairly hard. I'm sure some bigger investors can use offshore companies or businesspartners, but most smaller average people can't. Most investors in china are people that invest in something 'because someone they know did it', meaning that they have no clue what type of investment they make (similar to how people pick a savings plan from the bank, they do it because they're getting told to do so). Anyway, once regulations are in place the Chinese people will either be allowed to legally invest again, or they won't. Either way cryptocurrency will keep going, this train can't be stopped, especially not by a country that still uses wooden stick as cutlery

So far, at the insistence of the government, China's three major crypto-exchange exchanges have announced the suspension of bitcoin trade for their citizens since September 30 and October this year. Also suspended ICO. However, there were no prohibitions on activities with crypto currency. If in their country they can not participate in the ICO, you can temporarily leave for this purpose to other countries, such as Hong Kong, which is already done by many Chinese people trading crypto currency on the Hong Kong stock exchanges.

the use of VPN for the Chinese community is very important
