hey guys,
I am trying to set up mining rig with 6 Nvidia Zotac 106-100. I am using H110 D3A motherboard.

I have tried updating bios, i tried every possible way with GPU raiser combination. It is not raiser or GPU problem, i think its motherboard problem. PSU shoudn't be a problem neither.

When I say pc doesnt boot, I mean that PC starts and doesn't show gigabyte logo. Afterwards monitor shows black screen with flashing cursor in left top corner. After few minutes it says to insert bootable device.

I have a lot of experiance with mining rig building, but never have seen any problems like that. Only thing that I can think of is that Zotac Gpu isn't totally compatible with h110-d3a motherboard.

I would appreciate any help.

I had something similar with another MB in the beginning. Z270. What was surprising, the boot option for Win 8 did the trick. Otherwise it did not see the M2 drive and refused to boot.

Do you have enough PSU power to drive the entire rig. Also maybe your mobo and software don't get along to well.

"  insert bootable device " i think one of the card installed using the same pci lane what your hard drive using .
- How did you installed the operation system ? Most of times UEFI installation can fix that issue with proper bios settings ...
- So your computer is booting , just can not find a bootable device ,go to your bios and turn off all hardware option you dont using on your mining rig
- You might need to change PCI Subsystem to GEN 1
- Did you setup the correct boot device in bios ?
- try to switch sata port for your hard drive

6 cards setup is not a plug and play on some older motherboard

His computer is able to go to that point where asking for a bootable device , so the motherboard is booting into bios , at that point it should not be a psu problem , and miner running ok with 5 cards installed Smiley

Afterwards monitor shows black screen with flashing cursor in left top corner. After few minutes it says to insert bootable device.

I got this problem before, it is riser failure. You may check riser. Also remember to change PCI Subsystem to GEN 1 as well.

Try this:
Reboot into Bios --> Advanced Settings --> System Agent (SA) configuration-->Above 4g Decoding = Enabled

Above 4G memory -> Enabled
PEG0 -> Gen1
PEG1 -> Gen1
Integrated Graphic Adapter -> IGD (just for convenience)

Windows 8.1/10 WHQL Support -> Enabled (important!)
Windows 7 installation -> Disabled
Fast boot -> Disabled
Secure boot support -> Disabled

and

after that, i rebooted and I came to windows! Thank you very much! I've been struggling to make 3 rigs work! Thank you guys again! Smiley
