hey if anyone can help me, i been looking and cant find a definite answer.
is there a wallet i can use my private to collect my bitcoin cash, but it leaves my bitcoins on my core i run?
i have never tried to get them, but i dont want to run a new wallet for btc as i am comfortable with core and run a full node.

i would like to use my private key that has my bitcoins on it, and have a totally seperate wallet for bitcoin cash.

i looked at bitcoin.com wallet, electron cash and coinoni. they say the wallets can get the bitcoin cash, but it also says the bitcoins get loaded there too, which i dont want.

any help is great, thanks guys!

You can do it. And you don't even have to download the Bitcoin Cash chain to spend your coins.

1. Download Electron Cash[1] (only BCH is supported, so your BTC remains untouchable);
2. Create a new wallet with the private-keys from Core that are loaded with BCH.
3. Spend your BCH.

It's as simple as that. You can spend your BCH coins - and even delete Electron Cash after that - and keep using Core to manage your BTC.
