So there is a lot of hype on the BTG fork. The number 1 quality that I hear is that it allows GPU mining. Basically anyone at their computer can mine BTG. How is this done? I would like to mine BTG, but there is nothing that I have found on the internet that can help me.

BTG supporters who have planned for a hard fork in october 25 have said that the mining algorithm would be changed so that BTG could be even mined with GPU systems. They term that it would be the true decentralization in bitcoin mining so that any one could mine BTG.For this reason,BTG has no miner support. It has no wallet support.Till now,no clear announcement about BTG mining and BTG wallets. So,it would be surprising to see that how BTG would be transacted when there is no mining. It shows that definitely it would be a garbage.Just people have to keep the useless BTG coins in their wallets.

The change in the mining method (it won't be possible to mine it with ASIC systems) would cause real difference in mining, compared to the original bitcoin. When it gets forked, there will be a need for miners with decent GPU support, but there's a lack of information about the details. As the mining method is not compatible with the ASIC boxes, it was told that bitcoin gold is a backup plan if China will monopolize the mining of the original bitcoin, but it's not officially stated yet...

There is not too much information yet and it is not launched, but when fork happens you will can mine with yout GPU card. Just wait a little and you will can find tutorials and all you need to mine it.

The Bitcoin Gold's better feature is mining since everyone can mine with their low specs hardware. Unlike Bitcoin, big mining companies are the most rewarded since they're using top of the line hardware specs thar are capable of multiple threading network mining at the same time. It is indeed a very good Fork from Bitcoin's Core because it feels like everyone has a chance to earn blocks and coins day after day.

Do you have any information if the BTG will be included in the fork.lol website in the charts? Or they don't take bitcoin gold seriour enough to include it? The fork.lol website was really useful to determine if the transactions in the mempool are on the way to be processed or they will wait in the mempool for days (if they include lower fee compared to the average)
Or, because of BTG's algorithm is different from BTC (and BCH), they won't include it.

Why would you want to mine BTG? What is your driver to do so?
