Hello everyone,

I am working on an interesting project and would like to figure something out, but I lack the technical experience in the blockhain area. I generaly understand it and I know that my idea can be implemented in blockhain but when it comes to details, I get confused. For the past week I tried to read as much as I could about storing data on blockhain, IPFS and  Tahoe-LAFS systems. I can find everything about IPFS and  Tahoe-LAFS, but there is hardly any information on blockhain and how data is stored on it. If anyone with
in-depth knowledge can comment below and I will PM them.

If anyone is actualy really skillful in this area, I am willing to hire him to work with me for my company. I have great ideas but I need developers to make them a reality. I think this place has a lot of people that fall in this category. If not, I just want to ask some questions.

Thank you

Here's the developers' mailing list:

Note that the blockchain is not really a file system. It is literally just a chain of blocks. Each block is a raw data "blob" (see here for details). What makes it a chain is that each block has a hash-based relationship with the previous block and all the blocks satisfy a certain adjustable "mining difficulty". As a data storage/retrieval mechanism, the blockchain itself is horribly inefficient, at least as bad as tape storage.

Hope that helps you in your endeavors...

Thanks for clearing that up for me. I don't know if you've heard of the Bowhead Token. They essentialy built a medical device and they plan on having data that they will gather stored on The Bowhead Token nodes. So from what you said, they probably don't even know a lot about blockhain. They have a Waves Based Token on which they plan to store medical data. So I should probably just stick with Tahoe-LAFS. IPFS sounds too much of a new and untested thing. And I am also confused by Patientory's system using blockhain to buy extra space to store your medical data.

I want to make a profit-share token, but I also wanted to implement blockhain in storing medical data, but I guess that is not that efficient as you've said.

Thank you

If you are looking for Blockchain developers, you will find many profiles with that profession on LinkedIn. Just type it there and a number of results will be shown to you. You can also find other professionals who can also help with your projects like Python Developers, Frontend Developers, Dot Net Developers, and so on, there. Just send a message to any of them and I'm sure that someone will respond to your request. Good luck!
