$1500/month to spare for a high risk high reward altcoin portfolio. Suggestions?

Hello everyone,

In the coming 6 months in 2018, I want to set aside $1500 every month to invest in interesting projects (altcoins) that can potentially pay off hugely. I’m willing to take some risks. I have already bought a bit of ELIX - I think its undervalued and has a great community. So guys hit me up. Some under the radar, high risk, but sound projects, that u have looked into and want to bring to the table ! Also, if u have some advice on how I should go about this investment plan, I would very much appreciate it!

To be honest, I haven't really put much work into finding legit ICO's. Could you perhaps mention some worth checking out ?

Why not invest 1-2 ICO projects every month, so you may gain more in the future. Because ICO's earnings far outweigh the purchase of altcoin.

It's not true, there are alot of ICO's where you don't earn that much, or you have to wait alot before you will make profit. You need to know in which ICO's to invest

Congrats, i'm also a newbie and i want to know on what are you based for investing in these coins? it's really great that you now have almost 2x of the investment.

Gensis Vision (GVT) - 66 tokens
Elixir (ELIX) - 1000 tokens
Walton (WTC) - 67 tokens
SunContract (SNC) - 1350 tokens

I've invested also around 2200 USD in the below coins, that generate a lot of "heat" :

Looking for any opinions on those. I'm thinking about investing also in some of you coins..that's why i'm asking ..

Thanks! U are asking what I base my investments on. Well, I usually check out the website, roadmap, team, and read reddit etc. and then finally ask myself the important question "Will this project suceed in the future and have a real world use?" If the answer is yes and the project haven't already gotten too much attention, then I strike. I'm still a beginner and I will have regrets along the way, but I won't let that affect me emotionally. I'm all about hodling for long periods of time. That should be the go to strategy when u really believe in something.

In your case, I will suggest you to maintain a balance portfolio between low risk to high risk. For high risk and high return, you can consider new altcoin and ICO projects.

While researching, you can buy ETH, BTC and Neo with $1500 monthly as your low risk coins and invest into the high risk coins after you found them.

Hi guys, I hope you're all doing well. This is a quick update. In total, i've invested $2500.

After countless of hours reading about projects, i've decided to go with this:

Gensis Vision (GVT) - 66 tokens
Elixir (ELIX) - 1000 tokens
Walton (WTC) - 67 tokens
SunContract (SNC) - 1350 tokens

Currently worth $4500 atm so already a bit of profit.

I know this is a risky way to enter the market, but I like going with my gut feeling.

Interesting list. Except for Walton, I have never heard of these coins. All the best with this portfolio. What made you decide that these were the ones to put your money in?

I appreciate your answer, but I just feel like there's so much more money to be made in "high risk" projects. I understand it will be followed by more risk, but lets be honest $1500 every month isn't that much on a larger scale. I don't just wanna 10x my money, I want to 100x -1000x it. And if everything I invest in dies out, then well, at least I tried.

I think rpx is a good and low risk coin and if you are willing to wait wanchain will be a no risk coin to invest.

Haven't heard about rpx, but wanchain, I'm all in for that. I have Wanchain twitter bookmarked to see when it hits the exchanges. Gonna get a piece of that for sure.
