Hi guys,

Is there a way to get a real UK bank account to make online transactions?
Of course I am not from UK, and I want to have one personal account there and handle it remotely.

It maybe a silly question, but want to know if it is really possible or not.

I found this one by googling. But not sure of their reliability.

There is another thread with a list of free bank accounts that can be opened online: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1756494.0
You can add or discuss any link there.

Thanks for the link.
I have checked 2 sites so far, but it was not suitable for my location.
And I will check all the sites one by one in the hope that I will get what I need.

I also checked Payoneer today to double confirm how it works with bank transfers.
Since 3 years I am using Payoneer Card but I have never used the global payment service.
I'm confuse with global payment service and trying to find out my answers. After that I will try it practically.

You can try Fidor but I doubt you will be able to open something there. With Any other UK bank as well, specially if you don't have any real UK address.
You can try Revolut, Sogexia and others, as they are giving a UK IBAN so it can be a solution for you perhaps. It's a pure online banking but if it's work for what you are planning, then why not...
You need to be approved by Payoneer before to be able to use their global payment service and it's not easy to be approved as you can guess.

Thanks for your suggestion.

I sent mail to Fidor about to know their acceptance of my location. Currently waiting for their reply.
Checked Revolut, unfortunately they are not accepting users from my location. Only EU users can use them.
Checked Sogexia before your recommendation, I think they also don't accept users from my location. I faced difficulties during sign up and ended up with no result.

I checked payoneer's terms, and they don't allows digital currency. What I am trying to do is related to digital currency.
So there is no reason left to apply for global payment service to get approved.

Still looking for a solution.

Ah sorry, I didn't know that Revolut accepts only European citizens. I checked Fidor ad look like it accepts only UK citizens. But for sure a bitcoin related business can use the service as Kraken had a bank account with them. I think you will have he same problem with sogexia since you are planning to operate something related to cryptos.
Global-coin may be good to check but if i am not wrong the iban is shared so not sure if it will be good for your plan.

It's always going to be a problem for non-EU citizens to open a UK bank account unless you're a student or resident there longer than six months. I know because I was refused several times despite living there for extended periods. I'm looking at several crypto projects based in the UK, hoping that they'll find a way for a workaround, especially since UK is leaving the EU (or will they ever? haha).

Anyway, BAAB and Fiinu are two likely options. The former is seeking a UK banking licence and is supposedly working to get global users to be able to transact via a UK bank account. They've been touring Asia a lot so who knows? The latter already has a bank licence but won't know if they'll serve this purpose.

I doubt it if is possible to open account if you are non EU. I tried opening one to fund my bitcoins purchase but couldn't get things done. The only solution is to get a trusted peer or family With a legal resident in UK to do that on your behalf.

Can you provide me the link of BAAB?
And regarding Fiinu, what service they are providing? I visited there site, it seems they are crypto related.

So far I didn't found anything workable. You are right non EU residents cannot open an account.
About 30% of my relatives lives in UK and about 40% lives in USA. I may take help from my relatives later after I totally give up by trying myself.

To all my friends,
As we have much difficulties to get UK bank account, so is there any possibilities to get Euro bank account from any country which can be handled online?
