Not a scam, users must simply verify their accounts.

I use both exchange and I am in Bittrex now. The first exchange that I use is Poloniex because it has the highest trading volume before but due to some reports and FUD spreading about them being shut down and withdrawal issues then I decided to transfer to Bittrex because I can see that many people are transferring there and it has variety of choices of coins as well compared to Poloniex. Recently, there is this problem of Bittrex as well deactivating accounts even though it is already enhanced and for those who has basic accounts are required to enhance their accounts but I am not affected by this but I am having doubts now of whether I would choose Bittrex still. Binance would be an alternative for me and Gexcrypto too when it is already launched. I hope that those affected accounts would be activated and problems be solved.

You forgot to mention Binance for altcoin exchange. It has a low fees (0.10% or 0.05%) and supports many pairs of coins.

Hey everybody bittrex has asked that if you have multiple support tickets to log into your support account and delete all but your first ticket. Like I have said if they are really trying to screw everyone sending them lots of support tickets is neither going to bother them or help you so if they are trying to do this manually all we can do is try to speed it up by getting rid of useless tickets. Hoping for the best possible outcome

Bittrex has temporarily closed registration to new users, unfortunately making Poloniex the only option to sign up between these two exchanges at the moment. As others have mentioned, Binance is an other exchange to consider for similar services.

Bittrex vs Poloniex vs Binance Key Points of Comparison
  • Customer Support: While none of these exchanges have anywhere close to perfect customer support, Poloniex seems to be particularly bad in this area. Many Poloniex users have experiences support tickets taking multiple months. Binance and Bittrex support is usually handled in a more reasonable time frame of a few weeks max.
  • Verification Requirements: Binance by default allows you to withdrawal the equivalent of 2 BTC / day, without requiring any personal information. You can increase this to 100 BTC / day by completing verification. Both Bittrex and Poloniex require verification for any withdrawals. Keep in mind Poloniex's poor customer support may severely delay your verification.
  • Current Trading Pairs: Binance 264, Bittrex 261, Poloniex 99. Not only does Binance currently have the most trading pairs, but they've also been most consistent recently in adding news coins to their exchange.
  • Trading Fees: Binance 0.1%, Bittrex 0.25%, Poloniex 0.25% or less (maker-taker fee schedule)

I am currently a trader in poloniex. Very unhappy at the moment because of the trading volume being steadily decreasing. The liquidity for “smaller” altcoins is quite low indeed. I should transfer all my funding somewhere else like binance or bitfinex soon. Any advise?

Poloniex and bittrex are my best choices before.

But time flies so fast and these well known best exchange before are starting to be dry and new young exchanges are dominating for the upcoming years.

Go for binance mate, its now one of the most popular and does have a big trading volume that you are considering.

Bittrex -> NO. I love using bittrex but they all of a sudden they reduced my withdrawal limit by 86.6666666667%,(they reduced my daily withdrawal limit from 3BTC to 0.4BTC Angry),they also locked thousands of accounts. So beware!
Binance -> YES. I don't use it much/use it all,but from what I have heard and seen, they have a lot of supported altcoins(except DOGE Cry) and they don't have any accusations yet!
Poloniex also has so many deposit issues off late and their support system....is shit. Even sloths are faster..

Binance - as a foreign exchange, it is more risky to use IMO. I would only use Binance for quick transactions and not store funds on them.

I think for almost 6 month Poloniex and Bittrex have same attitude lack of response the ticket support, and I’m not use because of that issues.
