It's priced in already. But it doesn't matter since Bitcoin does what Bitcoin wants to do regardless of whatever happens or who says what.

For some reason someone thinks it's a good idea to short Bitcoin now. My guess is that shorts are going to get liquidated badly and any big gamblers on Wall Street are going to go bankrupt as contracts expire. Remember that Bitcoin is a 24 hour yearly market and these Wall Street people are applying office scheludes to open and close the futures markets which is insane. You get stuck with what you did on friday for the entire weekend, meanwhile the price of Bitcoin can easily go up a lot during the weekend and destroy every single short. The whole thing is nonsense.

It looks like there has been a bit of a bump in the bitcoin price today, but I think the real impact would probably be tomorrow - when all the traders are at work. It will be interesting to see whether the professional traders buy into the future market.

It's not listed on the 17th, we have still hours to go because it's listed on the 18th, particularly today at 12 PM it will start. I have already got some popcorns to see some candles. Let's see what they can do. The first part will be the offline hours for the contracts, as BTC market continue moving without them, that will be fun to watch.

I have concluded that both CBOE and CME are irrelevant for other than BTC holders themselves speculating about how much of an impact they will have, but long term I don't see much relevancy once the novelty factor wears out.

Though bitcoin has not gotten to $24,000 yet but at list it has making a serious gained since morning till now. Cme is another future market that has list bitcoin among there trading instruments and this is good for bitcoin adoption and acceptability all over the world. I seriously think that before the end of this week bitcoin may go as high as $25,000 and this is my high, high for the year according to my own predictions.
