I do think the same, they are very gentle and polite. I would probably say a percentage of 9x% of the active members are that way.

I do want criticism but constructive, like "oh nice, but I would prefer to see this and that" or "there is a lack of information around y". Cool! That rocks. I just wanted to discourage the small percentage of members I've seen on other posts doing the typical "this sucks and you suck and such" because that is not adding value to anyone.

You're 100% right. These kinds of projects need a very mature plan and working very closely with city councils and Mayors. We have been at it for the last 6 months but it's still long until we can achieve full collaboration.  Governments move slowly, and they want all the figures upfront with as close to 100% certainty as possible before moving on to a decision phase.

Let me get into a little bit of detail on how we generate the data.

So one of the reasons we will provide accurate proof of work of the units is because each of them senses the air composition on the beginning and then again at the end, just after the air has been cleaned. The difference in this data (acknowledging and adding the error/variance) will be the difference we create on the air quality and composition and any reduction will be 'validated'. This increases in accuracy (at scale) because it's a system of units recalibration of sensors usually with lab testing facilities but that goes for another talk.

This data then needs to be contrasted periodically with an independent audit. That will show your numbers are solid.

However, to do so the initial stages are to produce the machines and emplace them on the street - so we can test them and gather such data. At least for a small test.

This is mission critic for us, as is the blockchain part of it beacause of validity. So our next steps are to finish building a prototype unit to be presented to them. They have been exposed to the idea and model but until we don't have something working in front of them, it's going to be very difficult to move forward. But as I said, I'm engaged with some bodies of the city government and will try to keep pushing for them to give us a yes as soon as possible. This side needs an injection of cash (apart from my own) that I'm trying to get by applying for grants, private capital and working with some private companies in the sector.

The system that's gathering the data and our servers are pretty much done for v.1. The DAPP Air Bastion, which plays another critical role is being developed at the moment and it's not yet operating.

The funds raised are going to go toward 1)the DAPP company (Air Bastion). This company is in charge of creating the DAPP and needs some funds to do so (more developers are going to be hired).

Also, some funds are going to be used to increase the generation of value from the DAPP itself. The goal of the DAPP is to promote and achieve a standard of air quality difficult to do by any other means that a large scale operation.

To do so, this company will sponsor the 2) R&D and development of the units with part of the funds and with future funds collected from the Air Bastion regular activities. The operability of this machines reduce air pollution in the most polluted parts of the cities:

1) Hospitals, schools, and elderly care homes (where our most delicate people spend most of their time).
2) Alongside busy roads - where most of the pollution is generated.
3) We have a couple of options here - but it's probably going to be guided by where the most pollution comes from at that point and if possible will be community voted.

More detailed, clearer and visual explanation of fund allocation and token allocation are going to be on our website this week too with a logic relationship of how all these components are tied together

Most people will automatically think: Why should anybody care about air pollution?
And they might be right to think so - they just don't know the numbers. Every year 7 million people die of air pollution. And in words of the World Health Organization, 2014:
In new estimates released today, WHO reports that in 2012 around 7 million people died - one in eight of total global deaths – as a result of air pollution exposure. This finding more than doubles previous estimates and confirms that air pollution is now the world’s largest single environmental health risk. Reducing air pollution could save millions of lives.
And in a new update this year they found out the number is closer to 12.6 million than to 7.

[WHY do we exist]
First, because of what we just exposed.
Second, we exist because we want to achieve a bigger purpose - which is to clean the pollution we have in the air. And we want to do that for every city of this world.
And to do so, we need your help. And we need to involve everyone in the process.
We need to involve citizens - as they are the heart and soul of the cities. They have the more power than they thought and it resides on the outnumbering of them. Donations will be a choice for most and most people with a job can afford to give away $1 a month. We need to involve wealthy individuals - so they can give away money taxes will take out of them anyway. We need to involve small companies that need a quick on their advertising. We need to involve corporations, funds, and trusts - so their brand gets tied to the desire of cleaning the air and give them a great ROI.
And the best way to achieve both the purpose and the engagement of the population is to create "something" with that goal in mind. And that something is the:

The Air Bastion purpose and reason to exist is to clean the air from pollution by involving everyone in the goal.
How it's achieved is by donations to the platform, collaboration, education, sponsorships and a ton of other things.
Donations and sponsorship are then forwarded to Pure Air Industries with whom we are closely related now (we have contracts) in order to do the job. These funds will allow Pure Air Industries to finish, test and deploy the units that clean the air into our streets and start making a real impact.
In the future though, AIR BASTION is going to become a non-profit organization - as no money is made through the platform. And if it's possible, operated independently from Pure Air Industries. So when a corporation/startup is shortlisted to receive the donation is going to be elected by stakeholders and registered in a blockchain.

[TECHNOLOGY STACK]
We use Ethereum for the smart contracts and web3 for the DAPP to talk with it. Our contracts can be found on our Github page. The sponsorship contracts will accept fiat currency, in exchange for tokens. The donation contracts accept fiat and are transformed to ETH and sent to our ETH wallet. These new Token holders can trade with tokens in our platform and do some specific actions.
Inside AIR BASTION anyone can:

Donate a recurrent amount
