i have searched within my capabilities and i can't find any results.

All i have to go on is, It's an instrumental.

It's a modern Jazz (jazz hop?) album done by a DJ, from at a guess, late 90's to 2006 at latest, but most likely early 2000's.

One song that i remember has a sample that says 'Jhonny Coltrane'.

that's really all i have to go on.  I can offer $10 ETH for a bounty if you can find this track / album.

I'm out, as I don't take ETH, and there's too little to go on if the track isn't titled "Johnny Coltrane" as in jazz saxophonist John Coltrane.

Saying that you don't trust someone because of their behavior is completely valid.

It is jazz although it is from 1958.

Did you listen to a remixed version of that song?

no thats not it, although i am almost certain it sample john coltrane.

It was a jazz album produced on turntables from samples. that is the only song with distinguishing features that i remember.

After speaking with TheButterZone, it's probably only able to be answered by someone who knows the genre rather than a net detective.

It is hard to find an album with just a sentence says 'Jhonny Coltrane'

With your effort you could have just know the album if you have a good intuition what song it is.

Fundamentally the song is hard to find if you can't remember any more specific details about the song, Although you can just search it if you know.

P.S Good luck looking for your song, I remember the theme song of Selecta because of your topic.

sorry no, it's not mainstream and it's an instrumental. It has no lyrics except the sample that says 'johnny coltrane'.
From the best of my knowledge, it may have been a 33 rpm Record only release on an independent label. no CD.

it's probably only able to be answered by someone who knows the genre rather than a net detective.
