hi,

Ive lost my IOTAs in the old wallet, and unable to recover them.

I am ok to pay 10k USD for recovering them, as it is a big position.

Can you help with that ?

You will probably get better results on a IOTA forum: https://forum.iota.org/

Can you give some more details.
You still have your pasphrase / seed .
There ist a recovery tool in the new wallet.
If you are not able to solve your problem you can write me a PM.

Can you help with that ?

Is that like an old leather wallet, paper wallet, or hardware wallet.?

More details would help people here give you a better answer.

hello guys,
thanks for your replies

it is an old wallet, I had bought the IOTAs in september 2015 and have stored them in cold storage.

It appears that the new wallet updates didnt take the old wallet into account, which has caused the issue.

the IOTA team seems to be too busy to look at this issue

can anyone help ?

Please give us some more information.
You can still log in but have zero balance?
Or you are not able to log in at all?

Usualy it is not drown the drain.
You just need a seed to logiin to your iota wallet, as long as you have the seed, everthing is fine.
If you haven´t posted your seed or told some one anyway, anyhow your money is still there.
You can check your account with any ledger explorer service of your choice.
like -> https://thetangle.org/ for example. You would need the account number to do so, if you don´t have it by hand don´t waste much time looking for it.
Your money is still there !!
Don´t worry.
If you cant log in because of worng letters in the seed, or get any kind of error regarding wrong input when you enter the seed, iota changed the password policy, only captial letters and only the number 9 are allowed.
If you are using any small letters just use the BIG any number diffrent form 0-8 gets 9 and blanks also 9.
Hope it helps a little on the long way to recovery.
