Segwit2x back?

Most of us were glad that Segwit2x was stopped. It was a reasonable step by the developers. Now it seems, that Segwit2x is still alive. What do you think about this news?

So now they are going to increase block to 4 mb. If the transaction fee will grow with the same speed as it did this year then even if originel BTC will increase the block size to 8 mb (like BCH) then we won't  get a long term benefit. In a year the transactions will be expensive again. But anyway Segwit2x is better than nothing.

It never really went away, if it will get the adoption or not I do not know, perhaps now it will be a bigger split in the community or maybe less. Could this be behind bitcoins fall in price today?

Will for me if this segwit 2x is back,its great ! because for me segwit 2x intention is to wide or broad the pathway of every channel and provide a good services to everyone of us in transacting our trading exchange.for me segwit 2x if not postponed by there implementation those past few months of november, we cannot experience a  kitten bite  this several months,that can co'z our transaction delay and pending.

This is not a new hardfork, they are not the real owners or developers of the ORIGINAL project, they are just thiefs who are going to use the name of Segwitx2 to make profit from theirselves.

Even if they are going to develop it, we all know that we can not trust them anymore, it was just a juga-rreta (a bad, but baaad move) from the bitcoin cash developers to try to make all the segwitx2 supporters go ahead and support bcash.

I would not be surprised if they do the same again (and this notice is very shady, only because bitcoin cash has increased by more than 33% today)  isn't it a huge coincidence? I think that it is not.

I don't think those kind of short term measures should not be implemented because we have no need for them. Yes the fees are quite high, and the transactions are quite slow, but the main focus should still be the lightning network, as it will fix things long term. Bitcoin should not be developed like bcash. The team behind bcash doesn't really have any concern about their project, and just want o show immediate results and claim they are the true bitcoin. The network needs work, and is not mature enough. Good development takes time, and users must understand that and be patient. Bitcoin right now is good to buy and hold, and there is no problem with that. In the long term, as it evolves, all the patience will pay of.

Good to know as if segwit2x did not went through some embarrassing moments now people completely outside of the loop are going to try to make this work, we do not have to be a genius to know that this is not going to be the case and if I did not like it the fork before now there are even more reasons to dislike it even more since it seems this is nothing more than a money grab.

I think that by the New Year many will make a conclusion of the crypto currency in Fiat for the results of the year as it was before. This fork will support the cost of bitcoin during the New Year holidays. And what about the fork itself, then everything is as usual: the rich will get rich even more.
