*** I've received a PM from this guy "biaka":

"Hello,
Announcing the release my btc-e trade bot. Btce-Bot is a top knotch trading platform and gives the user the ability to trade 24/7, an advantage over any trader without it. Btce-bot is very popular with its members, and boasts the most users of any btc-e bot out there.

The bot is simple to setup and is supported by btce API keys. I offer a trial version, and only ask if you make a profit please consider buying full version for .2 btc.

If you would like to purchase, or download trial visit http://redacted/

Thanks!"

*** I've replied:
"I'll let you know if i'll buy!"

*** Second PM from him:
"ok but you can use trial version to test it."

*** I've replied:
"Okay! I will let you know my opinion!"

My intuition told me "Don't Click !!"
After a Google search I realized that that address is virused.

Mods, please move my thread to Scam Accusations if my intuition was good!

You thought it was a good Idea to leave a completely active link in the email.....

So that google search engines will pick it up and boost the rating of the scam site?

This is why I extol the virtues of some sort of license before people are allowed to use a computer......

Also I've noticed that the message is spread everywhere but under different usernames and sites!

Be aware!

I reported the post to the mods so they could remove the link and they ticked it as inaccurate so I am guessing there don't mind that site

Definitely a scam. Got the same email, plus this person signed up under at least 10 different alt accounts on Coinchat and posted a link to this trade bot. People there had analysed the link in a VM or something similar and determined that it was not safe at all.

I just reported the same message after a 3 hour fight to find it and kill it.  It had a copy of a Dark Comet RAT hidden inside a XOR'd file inside 2 PNG shells, inside the program.. It took 2 hours to track it down and another hour to remove using my phone and bluetooth .-.

Can we name the link without posting it as a hyperlink so everyone is aware, just for future reference?

I got it too, it's probably a scam - don't click any links.

The signature campaign posters adding useless redundant fluff to their posts to reach their minimum word count are lowering my IQ.
