Its simply people are just cashing it out. And yes, I see the price drops very quick as well. But I have seen this numerous times already so I'm not surprise at all. Again, no one can tell for certain if this trend will continue. As you all know, bitcoin is very volatile, wild price swings every day. So it may go up or go down before Christmas time. And this dump is very unexpected, that's why the main reason is that investors, or whales just want to take profits. There maybe entities who are manipulating the price once more, to bring the price to a level that they can buy back huge amount of bitcoin. But the main thing here is not to panic, this will be just temporary, heck we may even see it surpasses $20,000 at the end of year. Let's see how it goes, but I'm telling you that this will be over in just a couple of days, even tomorrow we maybe on the road to recovery. Don't panic and just be patience. You will wake up tomorrow with all smiles when the price goes up again.

Yeah everybody is having a panic selling party right now, and they are withdrawing all their earnings right now.
It has been seen before a lot of times, so i can not understand why you all are saying that this is just a new "thing" in the market because it is not.

bitcoin price goes up too fast and the price adjustment is entirely reasonable. although it has been happened many times before and we are familiar with it but this time the bitcoin reduced quite significantly. with the status delay transactions and transaction fees are pushing up quite high to solve this problem I fear people will no longer favored bitcoin. I hope that I'm worried too far

This is not the first time Bitcoin has decreased 10% in 24h so no need to panic, it happens all the time, only issue right now is the ongoing tx spam attack on the network (278k unconfirmed tx at the moment of this post). But I do understand that you must be a btc newcomer so all of this might be scary.
We don't know what's going in happen in 3 days, the price can keep going down even more, or it might recover, no one knows. My advice to you is that you hold your coins for the time being, and don't give in to 'panic sell'.

I didn't notice that the price was drop i thought that the price could stay around $17k to 18k but looks like its getting decreased a lot..
Well i think this due to panic selling and the other reason its because of the network is getting slow the fee is really crazy these days almost lots of bitcoin users are having difficulty transferring or sending their bitcoin that is why i think people are afraid what will happen with bitcoin..
Look at the services section of this forum there are lots of members here are offering transaction accelerator..
Hope that they continue the segwitx2 so that people will buy bitcoins back and they should increased the block size so that the transaction could more faster..

We had exactly the same situation after the previous BCH pump when from the first 100 of coins only 5 were green in the chart. It looks like people are just cashing out. Only Ripple is growing again (would be nice if someone explain me why).

Did you know guys what will happen on bitcoin after xmas?

No one can say what's exactly going to happen in the future. It may go higher and recover or this drop can be continuous.

If it will continue to collapse or it will rise before xmas?

I think it will recover, bitcoin has been dropping itself nearly for a week now and when it's ready and get fueled it will increase.

Not all the time it will increase but also it won't decrease all the time so the rise will be shown before or after Christmas.

Yes, heavy panic selling due to the Christmas party. Foolish to sell right now. Absolutely holding, but hoping it goes lower so I can buy some more  in the next few days. I think it’ll go back up to 20k by New Years. Good time to get in.

It is possible that it will rise before Christmas or by Christmas Eve but it is highly likely for it to decrease after Christmas this time unless it will repeat what happened last Christmas. If it will continue to collapse, I guess the main reason for it is the slow transactions and high fees not being solved for a long period of time. Personally I don't want the chart to be bloody this Christmas so I hope it will go back to at least 17k$ price range.

I think bitcoin right now is on sideways position, if you willing to sell your bitcoin then sell it others will buy. bitcoin price will increase before New Year just like what happened last year. its normal brother!

It will easily decrease to $10K. So i personally do not suggest buying now.
Wait a bit.
I also foresee an altcoin storm shortly following.

Isnt going to keep decreasing, these who bought were cashing out funds before the xmas eve, now they'r willing to buy again at the same amount... easy way to profit over unexperienced people I guess.
