I have registered to MtGox and sent them some money via LR. But now when I try to sign in it is written "Your IP has been blocked because of too many failed login attempts." But I had signed in only once before I sent them money so which "many failed attemps" do they mean? Is MtGox a scam? I use Tor as a proxy with JS and Java disabled and antivirus with latest updates. I do as much as possible to secure everything. Can you help me with this?

Thank you.

No mtgox is not a scam!

They have however for security reasons blocked Tor (that's where the failed login attemps come from in large volumes). Use a different service or logon directly.

Can you recommend me some safe service which will be work with MtGox? I am afraid of the man in the middle attacks so I don't want to use banking services directly. Thank you.

when you say 'different service' do you mean a different exchange, or do you mean a different service like tor? if the latter what other service would you recommend?
