Have a few questions perhaps someone can help....it would be appreciated!

It relation to this tutorial on powering an asic blade erupter.....

After reading this, Instead of using molex connectors for the 12v+, one could use the 12v+ rails from PCIe connectors just the same, no? (6pin to be exact)

It seems like the wire gauge for the PCIe is greater then the molex connector, is it not? Can anyone point me in the right direction here?
It would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
