People should generally be very careful about supporting controversial cryptocurrencies like PTR. Americans should completely abstain because they can be legally persecuted. I guess the rest of us should consider the implications of supporting it and make our own informed decisions.

Why would you invest in a currency where the President has a history of creating hyperinflation and devaluing other currencies before it? Because it's the first country to issue a crypto-currency? Ludicrous. The best case scenario for this coin is that it remains pegged to a barrel of oil. The worst case is that it goes the same way of the Venezuelan dollar. Use common sense when investing.

PTR this token is a very controversial, because it is only in order to avoid sanctions in the United States, to invest in the tokens, could face a variety of legal issues, so need to be careful, otherwise it is easy to make you lose money.

I think this will have a lot of speculative value, but I'd be vary and go for a quick flip. This has been backed by oil, dunno if the sanctions and economic condition will improve or not, so i'd better stay away.

Petro is a currency purely for Venezuela as for me. Yes, it is tied to the Venezuelan oil barrel, but this is probably its only plus. This currency was created to facilitate trade and attract investors from Turkey, Qatar to bypass financial sanctions, and the Bolivar itself is almost completely devalued. So the idea is so-so I'll tell you.
