Is there a command line parameter for cgminer not to detect an ASIC?
eg: I'm after the opposite of a cgminer-nogpu.exe

I'm running a BFL Jalapeno with the drivers installed by a Zadig on cgminer-nogpu.exe and would like to use the GPU for mining LTC.

Thanks in advance!

Had same problem and fixed it by using cgminer 3.5.0 and adding
"usb" : "BAJ:0,BAS:0,ICA:0"
into cgminer.conf, you can just add "usb" : "BAJ:0" if you only use Jalapeño.

If you specify --scrypt, it will not try to use any asics since none of them do scrypt...

It's covered in the Advanced USB Options in the readme.

A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text.
Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing?
A: Top-posting.
