28 posts to make an Ann thread?

I was wondering, based on what I have read, to be able to include picture on my Ann Thread I have to make at least 28 posts over a 4 weeks periods? That sound spammy....

Because you need to be a Junior Member to do that. To become a Junior Member you will have to have posted in three activity periods and have at least 28 activity. I see you are still a newbie. I suggest to use the search button.

Read the rules in the on meta board especially Unofficial list of (official) Bitcointalk.org rules, guidelines, FAQ. It's a forum, it has it's specific set of rules for the members and as a member you need should accept it. If not then I am afraid it's not the place for you.

What seems spammy to you? It does not make sense to me. This has been done for better cause I believe. Like iillaa said, by a copper membership. Problem solved!

You're really criticizing what people put in their Announcement thread? You might be jumping the shark, Jet.

To the OP, I think the Copper Membership is the best idea. But there is another way that won't cost you. You put the image link in your Announcement thread, and then rely on someone who is a Jr Member or senior to quote your image link. This will produce the image, in the post that contains the quote. It happens all the time.

If you would like to create an announcement posts I would suggest contacting a more senior member to help you with that.

Nobody will take you seriously or will consider your announcement thread a scam.
