Hi all,

Who has the most BTC?

I should say, of the BTC owners who are honest with their identity, who has the most BTC?

Is there a Rich List? Say a top 50?

(And are they living beyond their means? Do they have a lot of debt?)

Of the existing BTC's already mined, how many have become concentrated into the hands of, say, the top ten?

Perhaps it is impossible to answer these questions...but what would be your best bet?

Cheers!

The Winklevoss twins (the social network movie) reportedly have over 100,000 BTC ($30million plus).  They are probably very happy right now seeing BTC spike to $400.  Their investment in bitinstant however is not doing as well.

There actually is a list somewhere in the newbie section about this.

Satoshi (the founder) had an absurd Amount, which is like worth $1B now. I remember the FBI was third richest after seizing all of the BTCs from the Silk Road take down. If you do a search in the newbie forum you should find it...I would except I'm in my mobile which sucks.

Holy crow - $1B worth of BTC is inSANE! I can't fathom it. I just want to get to the point where I'm generating
enough $$ monthly to cover what I pay into my mortgage so I can double my mortgage payment and pay the
damn thing off early Smiley

I may have been a little high on that estimate. But he has close to 1 Million BTCs so that's worth like $450M today. Crazy.

I'd love to do that too. I'd like to make enough money to help for a down payment on new property. I've been keep track of how much I've purchased vs current value and it's been an amazing return so far!  Since I haven't invested much in real dollars, I'm going to let it ride for a while and see where we end up!

I believe there's a site somewhere that sorts all of the addresses with the most coins.
