That's the trouble with rules "set-in-stone"; once you lay them down, people do whatever they can to circumvent them, and have a safe place to point out that they are, in fact,
not breaking the rules, even if their behavior is negative--then you gotta make more rules and more rules until nobody can take the time to read them anymore, and then you're back where you started. Without them, people are forced to act like adults
Exactly. The rules are basically what the mods will tolerate, and there are some very reasonable people in the staff.
Most of the time, if one of your post goes against the "rules", it will get deleted, at which point you know you crossed the line.
Some "trolls" have been banned for reasons I
really don't like, while some other "trolls" keep on posting tracking pixels and just get away with a warning, but overall, they're doing a good job in respecting freedom of speech.
